Hi Dave / all - New to the forum but having the same serial no dilemma on the New Holland TC33D. Try as I may (and I have) I cannot find the serial on this tractor. No plate riveted anywhere and no sign of one having been removed. Can't seem to find it on the bell housing either (rear of tractor on the drivers side I'm assuming?). The numbers given are the first serial numbers for a specific year. 4600: C660700 is the number for the first tractor assembled in 1981. 4610: New series started in 1982, but serial numbers continued as before, C681910 is the number for the first tractor assembled in 1982.
